Another proud old barn going full speed ahead toward the past.
This barn is about two miles from our house, on Scio Church Road. I’ve been watching it get old and bent like a beloved old grandfather. 17 years ago when me moved here, it stood tall and strong. It is in the middle of a corn field with not a house in sight; all alone. Over the years the rain and wind storms and hard Winters have taken their toll on this poor old guy. It’s roof is thinning, and its structure is getting weaker by the day. This Spring a wind storm gave it a shove, and it has started leaning to the east. Some day soon this old grandfather from the past will give up the ghost and fall on his face. I’ll miss him
